Any middle school math teachers out there working on FIP? You've got to check out the FIP in Action module that was just released: Math, Grade 8, Simultaneous Equations.
This module provides concrete examples about how formative instructional practices can be used when teaching the simultaneous equations cluster of Ohio's New Learning Standards in math. You'll also see how one teacher actively engages students in inquiry-based learning to solve real-world problems involving simultaneous equations.
The module takes approximately one hour to complete, and include tons of tips, practical applications, and downloads to help you use FIP in your classroom.
Visit the FIP in Action section of the website to learn more or enroll.
